On the third floor of a converted house, the stairs mean a few more trips for the team, so mention the floor when you call.

The price follows the appliance. A single, a double, a 90cm range and an AGA each have one fixed figure, agreed on the phone before the visit, and a range cooker clean is £143 for the 90cm size.

In a zone controlled for only two hours a day, a visit timed outside that window avoids the permit question altogether. In an all-day zone the van needs a pay-by-phone bay or a visitor permit. Renting in Lambeth and the checkout oven

Lambeth splits almost into thirds. In 2021, 31.4% of households rented privately, 33.6% rented from the council or a housing association and 33.0% owned their home, according to the ONS census summary for Lambeth. Private renting was up from 29.3% in 2011. Many of those tenancies end with an inventory check, and the clerk will open the oven.

Dust sheets go down first. Everything that lifts out is soaked and cleaned separately. The cavity and the door glass are degreased by hand, fan cover included, normally in your kitchen. The door is split where its design allows. Then the oven is rebuilt and heated, and you inspect it before anything is packed away.

Can you come on a Saturday in central Brixton?

My council flat is on the fifth floor and the lift is unreliable. Is that a problem?

Yes. A two-oven AGA is £143 and takes about half a day. It has to be switched off the night before so it is cool when we arrive.
