The streets we clean in SW4
Most of our SW4 work sits in the late-Victorian grid off Abbeville Road, the strip the agents brand Abbeville Village. Those terraces almost all have a rear back-addition, so the kitchen runs into the outrigger and the oven ends up in a narrow galley with the door glass pressed close to a cabinet. We split the door where the design allows and take the racks and side runners out to the tank in the van, which is the only sensible way to do it in a room that tight.
North of there the housing changes. Thomas Cubitt laid out the original Clapham Park around King's Road, Clarence Road and Atkins Road in the 1820s, and the mansion flats between hold a lot of integrated single ovens. The Clapham Park estate itself, transferred from Lambeth to a housing association in 2006, is where we get the ex-council kitchens and fitted units.

Lambeth runs controlled parking across most of this patch, single yellows enforced 8.30am to 6pm Monday to Saturday, so the van goes on a pay-and-display bay or side street while the technician carries the racks in. The roads around Clapham Common are where we build in a few extra minutes. It rarely holds the job up.
End-of-tenancy work here
Abbeville Road and the roads feeding it turn over a lot of young renters, and the checkout report almost always lists the oven. If you are handing keys back near Clapham South or Clapham Common station, a single oven clean is the usual call, and we heat-test and sign it off before we leave so you have got something to point the agent at.

No. The price is the price on the phone. There is no premium-area surcharge and no call-out fee inside the North and South Circular, and all of SW4 sits inside that.
Will the flat smell of chemicals after?
No. The cavity, fan cover and door glass are degreased by hand with non-caustic products, and the harsh caustic soak happens in the tank in the van, not in your kitchen. That matters in the small back-addition kitchens here, where there is nowhere for a smell to go.
How long does a double take?
About two hours. A single is nearer ninety minutes. In the tighter galley kitchens off Abbeville Road we sometimes run slightly over.
