London Oven Cleaners cleans two-oven AGAs for £143, with enamel-safe products and the cooker re-lit and checked before we leave.
An AGA is not a normal oven and we do not treat it like one. The cooker has to be cool before anyone works on it, the enamel will not forgive abrasives, and the hotplates and simmering plates need their own approach. Our technicians clean AGAs on those terms: non-abrasive, non-caustic products, removable parts done separately, and the distinctive enamel polished rather than scoured.
Plan the cool-down before the visit
An AGA holds heat for a long time. Turn it off the evening before the appointment; a cooker that is still warm at the top plates on the day slows the clean and can affect the finish. We re-light it as the last step and stay until it is drawing properly.

What does AGA cleaning cost?
£143 for the classic two-oven AGA. Three and four-oven models take longer and are priced when you call; tell us the model and whether it runs on gas, oil or electric. Adding the hob surround or an extractor hood at the same visit costs £23–28 and £28 respectively, since the call-out is already covered.
How often should an AGA be cleaned?
Once a year suits most households. AGAs that cook daily, or that share a kitchen with a frying-heavy routine, benefit from every six months or so. Because the cooker runs continuously, spills carbonise onto the enamel harder than in a conventional oven, and the longer they sit the more work they take to lift.
