London Oven Cleaners brings barbecues back to grill-safe: grates and burners dismantled and tank-soaked, priced on the phone by model.
A barbecue that wintered under a cover comes out greasy, rusty on the grates, and honestly a bit unhygienic. Old fat is where bacteria sit, and burnt residue flares up and taints the first cook of the season. The fix is the same treatment an oven gets: dismantle, soak, hand-finish, reassemble.
What a BBQ clean involves
- Grates, flame tamers and drip trays out and into the heated tank
- Burners cleared and checked for even flame
- The bowl or firebox scraped and degreased
- Lid, thermometer window and outer shell polished
- Reassembled and test-lit where gas is connected
Why no fixed price on this one?
Barbecues vary more than ovens: a two-burner trolley and a six-burner outdoor kitchen with side hob are different afternoons. Tell us the brand, burner count and roughly when it was last cleaned, and we fix the price on the call. It stays fixed once agreed.
When to book
Spring bookings fill first, straight after the first warm weekend. If you want the barbecue ready for a specific date, a bank holiday or a birthday, call a couple of weeks ahead. Charcoal grills are welcome too; they are mostly firebox and grate work.
Call 020 8077 5225, seven days a week. Oven, hob and extractor prices are on the prices page if the kitchen needs doing too.
Gas or charcoal, which barbecues do you take?
Both. Gas grills, charcoal kettles and built-in outdoor kitchens are stripped, the grates and burners soaked, and the inside degreased. Larger built-ins are quoted on sight.
We collect, clean and return barbecues throughout London. Check your area on the coverage list before you book.
