Oven cleaning in London
A single oven is £77 and a double £110, fixed on the phone before the visit.
London Oven Cleaners clean the whole oven in one visit. The racks, trays and side runners come out and are soaked and cleaned separately, the cavity, door glass and seals are cleaned by hand, and at the end the oven is heated so you can inspect it lit before we go. A single takes about 90 minutes.

How an oven clean works
A professional clean means the oven is taken apart. The racks, trays, side runners, fan cover and filters come out and are soaked and cleaned separately, while the cavity, door glass and seals are cleaned by hand, normally in your kitchen. Some teams carry a heated tank and use it when they can park close; otherwise everything is done in the kitchen. The price is the same either way, and you can ask when you book.
The time on site depends on the oven. A single (£77) takes about 90 minutes, a double (£110) about 2 hours. A 90cm range cooker (£143) needs 2 to 3 hours. A two-oven AGA (£143) takes about half a day.
We cover every London borough. Inside the North and South Circular there is no call-out fee; further out, any travel charge is quoted on the phone before you book. If a letting agent is paying, the invoice can be addressed to the agency, with pictures of the finished oven for the checkout file. For an empty property we can pick up the keys by arrangement. The visit, in the order it happens
- Dust sheets down. The floor and the units near the oven are covered before any part comes out.
- Strip the oven. Racks, trays and side runners come out of the cavity.
- Soak the parts. They are soaked and cleaned separately while the work on the oven itself carries on.
- Degrease by hand. The cavity, the fan cover and the area round the element are degreased by hand.
- Split the door. Where its design allows, the door comes apart and the grease that has crept between the panes of glass is cleaned off.
- Rebuild and heat. The clean parts go back in, the oven goes back together and is switched on.
- You check it lit. With the oven on, you check every corner yourself. If one is not right, we put it right before we leave.

Switch the oven off early
It has to be cool when the technician arrives, so for a morning visit, finish the last cook the evening before. An AGA is switched off the night before, because its cast iron stores heat.

On a permit street, a visitor permit (or knowing where the nearest pay bay is) saves time on the day.
A working socket
One within reach of the oven. Take out anything you keep inside it, such as baking tins or a pizza stone, and the clean can start straight away.
If a corner is not right when you inspect the lit oven, we put it right before we leave.
