A proper strip-down, racks and all
Professional oven cleaning is the dip-tank method, done in your kitchen. The racks, shelves and side runners lift out and soak in a heated tank in the van. The cavity, fan cover and door glass are degreased by hand with non-caustic products, so nothing harsh is left where your food goes. A single oven comes back for £77, usually inside ninety minutes.
It is the clean landlords book between tenancies, and the one home cooks book before the roast. Carbon comes off the element. Grease that has crept between the door panes finally goes, and the enamel is black again. We cover every London postcode inside the North and South Circular with no call-out fee, and reach the rest of Greater London by arrangement.
In the same visit we also clean hobs, extractor hoods, range cookers and two-oven AGAs.
Every clean follows the same seven steps
- Dust sheets down. We cover the floor and the units before a single part comes out.
- Strip the oven. Racks, shelves, side runners and trays all lift out.
- Soak in the van. The parts go into a heated dip-tank in the van, so nothing caustic comes indoors.
- Degrease by hand. The cavity, fan cover and element area are worked back to bare enamel with non-caustic products.
- Split the door glass. Where the door design allows, the panes come apart and the grease between them is cleaned.
- Rebuild and heat-test. Everything goes back in, and the oven is run up to temperature.
- You sign it off. You look inside the lit oven before we leave; any corner that needs more work gets it.
