Oven cleaning in Brixton and along Brixton Hill, SW2, using the dip-tank method. A single oven starts at £77, seven days a week, no call-out fee.
Most of our Brixton work sits on the streets running off Brixton Hill itself, the Victorian terraces round Rush Common, and the flats on the Blenheim Gardens Estate, the five 1960s towers just north of the old windmill. Two different jobs, really. A terrace kitchen usually has a freestanding range or a double, and the flats are mostly integrated single ovens fitted tight under the worktop. We plan the visit around which one it is, because a range takes longer and needs more room by the van.
Parking is the part we watch. The new controlled parking zones brought in around Brixton Hill run Monday to Friday, and the tighter ones off the main road only cover a short midday window, so a mid-morning slot is easier for everyone. We carry the racks and shelves out to a heated tank in the van and soak them there. The cavity, the fan cover and the door glass get done by hand indoors with non-caustic products, so your kitchen does not smell of chemicals after we go.
What we clean around SW2
A lot of SW2 is rented, and the letting agents up Brixton Hill and around Streatham Hill keep us busy with end-of-tenancy cleans. Landlords want the oven signed off before check-in, and a clean cooker is one of the deposit lines tenants argue over most. We heat-test every oven and sign it off before leaving. If you have a big range cooker, our 90cm range oven clean covers the wider builds we see in the period terraces here.
| Single oven | £77 |
| Double oven | £110 |
| Range cooker, 90cm | £114 |
| Two-oven AGA | £143 |
| Hob | £23–28 |
| Extractor hood | £28 |
| Microwave | £22 |
Brixton has one of the highest counts of conservation areas in Lambeth, Rush Common among them, so a good share of the kitchens here are in listed or period stock with older ovens that a caustic spray would ruin. Our products are non-caustic for that reason.
Common questions
How long does a single oven take?
About ninety minutes for a single, closer to two hours for a double. If you are on one of the Brixton Hill CPZ streets, tell us when you book and we will aim for a slot outside the restricted hours.
Do you charge extra for Brixton?
No. The price is the same everywhere inside the North and South Circular, and there is no call-out fee. A single oven is £77 whether you are on Brixton Hill or off Acre Lane.
Will the oven smell of chemicals after?
No. The parts that soak go in the tank in the van. Everything done inside your kitchen uses non-caustic products, so there is no smell once we finish.
Can you clean the hob and extractor at the same time?
Yes. A hob is £23–28 and an extractor hood is £28, both done in the same visit. Say so when you call and we will allow the time.

What customers tell us
I would certainly recommend this service, very efficient and good value for money. The young man did a great job and even cleaned the kitchen floor. Thank you.
Very satisfied with the service. They were slightly late at first but I got a call from customer service to let me know, and it was all fine. The oven man, as he called himself, arrived and worked very hard for a couple of hours. My oven now looks like it has never been used.
Arrived promptly and did a great job cleaning the oven, hob and extractor. They look like new now and for a very reasonable price too.
