Most of the late Georgian houses on Clapham Road, just north of central Clapham, appear to have been built under an agreement signed on 31 December 1791 between the Duke of Bedford and Archer Wilson, a Fulham builder; the earliest on the council's list, No. 357, dates from 1792.

Lambeth's 2012 statement for the Clapham Road conservation area, designated in 1981, traces what came next. Some teams have a heated tank on the van and use it when they can park close; otherwise everything is done in the kitchen. The price is the same either way, so ask when you book.
Can you clean the hob at the same visit?
