The kitchens we see
Most of our Sutton work sits in the inter-war semis of Cheam, North Cheam and Wallington, plus the Victorian cottages around Carshalton Ponds. Those bay-fronted three-bed semis nearly always run a freestanding cooker or a built-under double. Up on the higher ground towards the Downs, in Belmont and Carshalton Beeches, the detached houses on the bigger plots are where the range cookers and the occasional AGA turn up, so we bring the right kit for a wider cavity.
The St Helier estate is its own job. Those alphabetical roads, from Aberconway down to Woburn, named after abbeys, are London County Council cottage houses from the early 1930s, and the kitchens tend to be compact with a single freestanding oven that has done decades of Sunday roasts. Newer flats differ again. The single integrated ovens in the New Mill Quarter blocks by Hackbridge station are usually two or three years old and quick to bring back.
A Carshalton cottage kitchen and a New Mill Quarter flat need two different approaches, and we plan for both before we knock.
How the clean works
The racks, shelves, trays and side runners come out and soak in a heated tank in the van. The cavity, the fan cover and the door glass are degreased by hand indoors with non-caustic products, so your kitchen does not reek of chemicals afterwards. Where the door design allows it, we split the door to reach the film between the panes. The oven is heat-tested and signed off before we pack up.
Nothing caustic goes near your worktops. A single oven is usually about ninety minutes; a double runs closer to two hours.

Parking and ULEZ
Parking matters here because the parts ferry between your kitchen and the tank, so a bay close to the door saves time. The four controlled parking zones cluster around Sutton High Street and the station. On the estate roads and the wider Cheam and Wallington streets it is usually straightforward. Tell us about a permit bay or a tight frontage when you book.
Prices
Prices are fixed and quoted on the phone. There is no premium-area surcharge for Carshalton Beeches or Belmont, and no call-out fee inside the North and South Circular.

End of tenancy in Sutton
Sutton is a strong lettings market. Barnard Marcus works out of Regent Parade near the station and Goodfellows covers Carshalton Beeches and Belmont, and between the flats around the town centre and the New Mill Quarter blocks there is a steady run of check-out cleans where the oven has to pass an inventory clerk. Will my kitchen smell of chemicals after?
No. The cavity and glass are cleaned by hand with non-caustic products indoors, and the harsh soaking happens in the tank out in the van, so there is no lingering smell.
Can you clean an AGA in Belmont or Carshalton Beeches?
We do. A two-oven AGA is £143 and takes longer, so we book a wider slot for it. Range cookers up to 90cm are £114.
Do you charge extra for parking or the ULEZ?
No. The van is ULEZ-compliant and any permit or pay-and-display cost near the High Street is on us. The price we quote is the price you pay.
