Oven cleaning in Epsom from £77 by London Oven Cleaners. You inspect the lit oven before we go, and anything not right is put right on the spot.
Between the 1890s and 1924 the London County Council built five mental hospitals on the old Horton Manor estate, west of Epsom town centre. Most of the hospital sites are now housing.
Homes on the old hospital sites at Horton
Consultation on the sites began in 1986. In 1997 outline planning permission was granted for about 1,500 homes on four of them, Long Grove, Horton, The Manor and St Ebba's, and in May 2006 West Park followed, with permission for up to 360 homes and a hotel. Many of the hospital buildings were cleared for new houses and flats, but the listed ones, and others the council marked for their townscape value, were to be kept and converted, and many of the originals survive. Long Grove became Clarendon Park. At The Manor, the new estate is Manor Park, and the old manor house is now homes. All five sites are conservation areas.

Homes built on these sites since 2000 are likely to have a fitted kitchen with a built-in single or a double. Flats in the converted hospital buildings can be on upper floors, so tell us the floor when you book.
The older town, from Epsom Court to the 1930s
The railway reached Epsom in 1847. In the 1890s the Epsom Court estate, north of the centre, was divided and sold, and terraced houses went up on it over the next twenty years. Electric trains to Waterloo in 1925 and to Victoria in 1929 brought a bigger change: the population rose from 18,804 in 1921 to 27,089 in 1931. Borough status in 1937 let the council take over some 1,500 council houses built between the wars, and the 1944 Greater London Plan put Green Belt round the town on three sides.
Across the borough of Epsom and Ewell, 34.9% of households lived in a semi in 2021, 26.4% in a detached house and 20.9% in a purpose-built flat. South of the centre, College and Woodcote wards were nearly half detached (47.1% and 46.9%), and big houses like those are where a 90cm range or an AGA is more likely.

Renting in Epsom town centre
Epsom and Ewell is a borough of owners: 74.0% of its 31,321 households owned their home in 2021, and only 0.6% rented from the council. The town centre is the exception. In Town ward, on the boundaries used for the census, 47.4% of households lived in purpose-built flats and 38.1% rented privately, against 16.1% across the borough. Court ward had 27.6% renting from a social landlord.
Where a tenancy ends with an inventory, the oven is part of the check. Landlords and agents can have the invoice addressed to the agency and photos taken for the checkout file, and keys for an empty flat can be collected by arrangement. Our guide to end of tenancy oven cleaning and deposits is written for tenants.
Permits on Epsom's streets
Parking on Epsom's roads is run by Surrey County Council, with permits handled by its contractor NSL. On a road with a permit scheme, a resident can give the van an all-day visitor permit, which costs £2 (a household can have up to 150 a year). The borough runs its own car parks, including the Ashley Centre and Hook Road. Surrey's 2026 parking review for Epsom and Ewell was advertised from 21 May to 18 June 2026 and has reached the installation stage, so some roads may get new lines. Tell us the road when you book.
Ewell, Stoneleigh and the Downs
The places listed under this page are separate parts of the borough. Ewell, the other half of the borough's name, has its own page, as do Ewell West and Ewell East. Stoneleigh grew after its station opened in 1932 and was largely built by 1939; in 2021, 75.8% of households in Stoneleigh ward lived in a semi. East Ewell has Sutton (SM2) postcodes but is in Epsom and Ewell, east of the A24. Epsom Downs is the racecourse side of town; the Derby has been run there since 1780.
Epsom oven cleaning questions
Do I need to be at home?
For an empty let property, keys can be collected by arrangement. Otherwise someone should be in at the end to look inside the lit oven with us.
What should I do before you arrive?
Make sure the oven is cool, a socket works and there is parking near the door. Our page on preparing for your oven clean covers the rest.
What happens in the kitchen on the day?
Dust sheets go down, the removable parts come out and are soaked and cleaned separately, and the cavity, fan cover and door glass are degreased by hand. The oven is then reassembled, heated and checked with you before the team leaves.
Can you come on a Sunday?
Yes. We work seven days a week, and weekends are charged at the weekday price.

Arrived promptly and did a great job cleaning the oven, hob and extractor. They look like new now and for a very reasonable price too.
I would certainly recommend this service, very efficient and good value for money. The young man did a great job and even cleaned the kitchen floor. Thank you.
