The quieter one, HB1, takes in Wandle Road, Park Road, Killburns Mill Close and the even numbers of London Road from 194 to 266a, and there permits are needed only from 1pm to 3pm on weekdays. Felnex Avenue, where New Mill Quarter stands, is not on the council's parking checker, so read the signs there; for any other street, Sutton's list of permit parking areas gives the hours. The weatherboarded mill at 258 London Road has been listed Grade II since 1974. Its listing says it was at one time known as Kilburn's cotton mill, attached to Kilburn's calico printing works.
