The Royal Arsenal Riverside towers sit right on top of the Elizabeth line station box, and the flats inside them nearly all have a built-in single fan oven from the developer fit-out. The oven stays in its housing under the worktop, so the racks and trays come out to the heated tank in the van while the cavity and door glass are hand-cleaned in the kitchen with non-caustic products. Down towards Powis Street and the older streets, it is Victorian terraces and ex-council flats with freestanding cookers instead.

Powis Street is partly pedestrianised and the traders now run from General Gordon Square, so the town-centre core is no place to leave a van.
