Greenwich published a notice on 28 January 2026 under its Woolwich Sustainable Streets Scheme proposing to run the Woolwich Arsenal, Woolwich Market and Woolwich Common zones Monday to Sunday rather than Monday to Saturday, with the hours staying at 8am to 6.30pm, and objections closed on 18 February 2026. Sunday used to be the quiet day for a van here. Woolwich Dockyard is its own zone, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Is this an end-of-tenancy clean?
Often, yes. A lot of the Arsenal flats are let, and we heat-test the oven and sign it off so the check-out report has nothing on it.
Will the flat smell afterwards?
No. The soaking is done outside in the van and the indoor work is non-caustic, so you can cook that evening.
Do you do the hob as well?
Yes, £23–28 depending on the type. A microwave is £22.
