Most of our E18 work is the terraced streets east of George Lane and the larger semis up toward the Monkhams estate near the station. The tube stop was called George Lane until it was renamed in 1937, and the high street still carries the name, with Waitrose and Marks and Spencer a few doors from the platform. The terraces here tend to hold a single built-in oven, while the detached and semi-detached houses on Hermon Hill and around Monkhams more often run a range or a double.

Getting parts back to the van
George Lane and Salway Hill, where the Churchill statue stands, get busy through the day, so on the tighter terraces off the high street we book a mid-morning slot and the van goes as close as the parking allows. The estate is next to the North Circular and the M11, and there is no call-out fee inside the North and South Circular.

Yes. The terraces around the station and the semis on the Monkhams estate are all inside our area, seven days a week.
The house has an old range cooker. Can you clean that?
Yes. A 90cm range is £114 and takes longer than a single because there is more cavity to degrease by hand. Two-oven AGAs on the bigger Woodford houses are £143.
Can you fit an end-of-tenancy oven clean before a checkout?
