Wisley's parish church, at the north-west end of the village, is late 12th-century with a 17th-century porch, and its dedication is unknown: Historic England lists it, at Grade I, simply as Church (dedication unknown).

The airfield takes Wisley's name but its address is Hatch Lane, Ockham, and its postcode, GU23 6NU, is in Ockham parish. Guildford's Local Plan: Strategy and Sites, adopted on 25 April 2019, allocated the site as policy A35. Guildford Borough Council's Authority Monitoring Report for April 2024 to March 2025 (a November 2025 document) records outline permission under 22/P/01175, approved on 24 May 2024, for 1,730 homes (net), 692 of them affordable, plus up to 100 units in use class C2; a reserved matters application for phase 3 (25/P/00305) was awaiting determination at the end of that period, and Guildford's planning portal, checked in October 2026, shows it approved on 18 September 2025 for 459 homes. Later phases may have moved on since.

Reaching Wisley Lane by van
Wisley Lane no longer joins the A3 directly. National Highways' M25 junction 10 page (update of 8 November 2024) says the new Wisley Lane bridge over the A3 opened on Monday 11 November 2024 and the old access on and off the A3 at Wisley Lane is closed permanently. Southbound traffic turns left between the A3 southbound off-slip and Ockham Lane North (B2039) and crosses the bridge; northbound traffic turns round at the junction 10 gyratory first. Surrey County Council's 2026 parking review for Guildford has no proposals in Wisley, so the signs on the lane are the ones to follow. Yes. The invoice can be made out to the agency, and keys for an empty flat can be picked up by arrangement.
