Wilmington is a civil parish in its own right, 7,178 people at the 2011 census, 2.7 miles south of Dartford and 3.5 miles north of Swanley, pressed up against the Greater London boundary at Bexley. St Michael and All Angels stands on Church Hill. The name comes from Wighelm's Tun, the settlement of Wighelm's people, which is why the village was never listed separately in Domesday: it was counted as part of the royal manor of Dartford.

Very satisfied with the service. They were slightly late at first but I got a call from customer service to let me know, and it was all fine. The oven man, as he called himself, arrived and worked very hard for a couple of hours. My oven now looks like it has never been used.
