Oven cleaning across Whitechapel and the wider E1 postcode, seven days a week, starting at £77 for a single oven. The van carries a heated dip-tank.

The work around here

A lot of E1 jobs land in the new towers near the Royal London Hospital, the Raven Row and Aldgate East blocks where L&Q and others have put a 25-storey scheme up. Those flats almost all run a single fitted oven behind a fascia, so the £77 single is the price we quote most on this side of the borough. Then there is the older Whitechapel: Peabody and interwar LCC blocks off Vallance Road, plus the Georgian houses on Fournier Street near Spitalfields carved into flats, where the cooker is more often a freestanding 60cm, sometimes a 90cm range.

The racks, shelves, trays and side runners lift out and soak in the tank in the van. The cavity, fan cover and door glass get done by hand indoors, with non-caustic products, so the flat does not reek of chemicals afterwards. Every oven is heat-tested before we leave.

Parking and getting to the flat

Parking is the real variable in E1. The controlled parking zone runs on weekdays, so a job on Whitechapel Road or the streets feeding off it usually means a permit, a pay-by-phone bay, or a short carry from wherever the van lands. The market stalls line the north pavement of Whitechapel Road for the best part of a mile, from Vallance Road towards Cambridge Heath Road, and near the station the loading gets slow. None of that changes the price. No call-out fee inside the North and South Circular, no premium for a smart postcode.

In a tower by the hospital, tell us the floor and whether the lift takes trolleys.

End of tenancy in E1

Whitechapel churns tenants fast. It sits inside the selective licensing wards Tower Hamlets brought in, covering ordinary single-household lets in Whitechapel, Weavers and Spitalfields, so most flats here are rented and most move-outs need the oven back to handover standard. Plenty of our E1 bookings come from that, students near the hospital and the Elizabeth line, sharers, and letting agents wanting a clean before check-out. For the flat rate before you book, the full oven cleaning price list is on the site, nothing added on the day.

Questions we get in Whitechapel

How long does a single oven take?

About ninety minutes for a standard single. A double is nearer two hours.

Do I need a parking permit for the van?

On most E1 streets during the controlled hours, yes, or a pay-by-phone bay. Tell us the address and we sort where to put the van when we confirm the slot.

Will the flat smell of oven cleaner afterwards?

No. Only the removable parts go in the tank in the van. The cavity and glass are degreased by hand with non-caustic products, so there is no lingering smell.

Can you do the hob and extractor at the same time?

Yes. A hob is £23–28 and the extractor hood is £28, done in the same visit as the oven.

Said after the sign-off

Very satisfied with the service. They were slightly late at first but I got a call from customer service to let me know, and it was all fine. The oven man, as he called himself, arrived and worked very hard for a couple of hours. My oven now looks like it has never been used.

JoanaTW13

Arrived promptly and did a great job cleaning the oven, hob and extractor. They look like new now and for a very reasonable price too.

HelenSW4

Nice hardworking lads that always do a good job. We used them for our old flat when moving out and for the new one now, both jobs were done very professionally. My wife is very impressed with the results and would recommend them to friends and family.
