Westferry DLR sits where Limehouse meets the top of the Isle of Dogs, and the name follows Westferry Road all the way down the western river edge. The oven in these towers is rarely the hard part. Getting the tank up is. We book the block and floor in advance, and because a family that has just moved in usually wants the oven usable that same evening, we heat-test it and sign it off before we leave rather than leaving anything for them to sort out. A single takes about ninety minutes. Not all of Westferry is new, though. Nearer Limehouse the older converted warehouses and ex-council flats off Westferry Road often have a freestanding cooker, and the same method covers those.

Parking and loading
Westferry Road runs through Tower Hamlets Zone D, permit bays only from 9:30am to 5:30pm on weekdays, and loading near the towers can be tight. Tell us if there is a visitor bay or a spot the concierge can point us to, because a long walk from the van adds time. The whole strip is inside the ULEZ, and our vans meet the standard.
