The streets here are named after Harrow School headmasters, so a round takes in Vaughan Road, Butler Road, Butler Avenue, Sumner Road and Drury Road. The Bessborough Estate was laid out from 1898 over three former farms, Honeybun, Roxborough and Roxeth, and was largely finished by 1911.

The council has been looking at these streets
In 2024 Harrow Council proposed West Harrow Recreation Ground and parts of Butler Road and Lance Road as Local Areas of Special Character, on the grounds that the Victorian and Edwardian architecture has survived well. Well-preserved usually means original layouts, and original layouts mean tight galley runs at the back of the house.
Where the van goes
West Harrow station opened in 1913 as a wooden halt reached from Vaughan Road, and it is still a small entrance on a residential street rather than a forecourt. Parking is on-street. Harrow operates controlled parking zones with resident permit bays, so tell us the road when you call. We pay for the bay. No call-out fee inside the North and South Circular.

Yes. Where the design allows it, the door glass is split and cleaned between the panes, which is the part an inventory clerk goes looking for.
Do the racks come back the same day?
Yes. They soak while we work on the cavity, then go back in before the heat test.
