Is Chingford Mount a short enough hop for a weekend slot?
Yes. The council's town-centre work reckons 80 per cent of the high street's visitors live within a 15-minute walk of it, and the ward is tight in the same way, so Saturday and Sunday slots are the same price as a Tuesday.
Do you use the kitchen sink?
No. Tank, water and power are all in the van, so the kitchen stays clear while the parts soak outside.
Can you do the hob and the hood at the same visit?
Yes, and most people booking an end-of-tenancy clean do. A hob is £23–28 depending on type, an extractor hood £28.
Is the price different because the estate roads are narrow?
No. The price is fixed on the phone before we come out, and where the van has to sit does not change it.
