The streets of the old Uxbridge South ward
Uxbridge South was a Hillingdon council ward until the boundary changes of May 2022, when most of its streets went into the new Uxbridge ward and the southern end went into Colham and Cowley ward. It took in the west side of the town centre and ran south down the Colne side of the town into Cowley, so it took in the streets covered on the Uxbridge Moor page as well. The 2021 Census counted 485 households in the small area that takes in the Greenway, Kings Road, Alexandra Road and Villier Street. Around Walford Road and Derby Road the mix is different again: half the households (49.8%) were in purpose-built flats, and 22.8% rented from the council.

Parking in the Uxbridge South scheme, Zone U5
The council kept the old name for parking. Its Uxbridge South parking management scheme has four zones, U4, U5, U6 and UM, and the council's 2026 amendment notices show the permit bays on Kings Road and Walford Road in Zone U5, where a permit or visitor voucher is needed from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
