Oven cleaning around Upper Warlingham station, CR3, and the Whyteleafe valley flats along the Godstone Road. Dip-tank method, seven days a week, single ovens from £77.
The station sits at the bottom of the valley
Upper Warlingham station opened on 10 March 1884, stands on Station Road in Whyteleafe, and is about 150 metres from Whyteleafe station on the Caterham line. It is 15 miles 33 chains out of London Bridge, still inside fare zone 6, two platforms, Southern trains, Oxted line.
The name belongs to the village up the hill
Warlingham proper is CR6, up on the scarp slope of the North Downs. The CR3 ground carrying the Warlingham name is down in the dry valley, in Whyteleafe parish, in Tandridge district. The "Upper" was added to separate it from the station now called Whyteleafe South, which answered to plain Warlingham until 1956. Three names, two stations, 150 metres apart. Give us the postcode when you call.
Half of Whyteleafe lives in a purpose-built flat
The 2021 census put the parish at 4,620 people across 2.167 square kilometres, and 50.8 per cent of the accommodation is purpose-built flats, against 16.1 per cent detached and 12.3 per cent terraced. For a village sat on the North Downs that is an odd split, and it is the one that decides the work, because a purpose-built flat generally means an integrated single oven under a counter, a hob above it, and an extractor that has not come off the wall in years. A single oven in a Godstone Road flat is £77.
Everything funnels onto the A22
The Godstone Road is the A22 and runs north to south through the valley, with the housing stacked either side of it. Buses 407, 434 and 439 use the same road. Racks, shelves, trays and side runners only have to reach the van, and the heated tank is already in it. Fixed price, no premium-area surcharge on a CR3 address.

Questions from the Whyteleafe valley
Do you mean Warlingham CR6 or the CR3 side?
We cover both, but they are different places, and this is the CR3 one around the station and the valley floor. The postcode settles it.
Will the flat smell of chemicals afterwards?
It should not. The soaking happens outside in the van. Indoors the cavity, fan cover and door glass are degreased by hand with non-caustic products.
Is this enough for a check-out inventory?
Yes. Around 21 per cent of Whyteleafe is privately rented, so a fair slice of the CR3 diary is end-of-tenancy work, and the door glass comes apart where the design allows it.
How long does it take?
About 90 minutes for a single. Roughly two hours for a double.

Said after the sign-off
I would certainly recommend this service, very efficient and good value for money. The young man did a great job and even cleaned the kitchen floor. Thank you.
Arrived promptly and did a great job cleaning the oven, hob and extractor. They look like new now and for a very reasonable price too.
Brilliant clean, my oven looks like brand new. A 5 star clean.
