A mixed patch of housing
Twickenham is more mixed than the riverside parts of the borough, and the work reflects it. How the clean works
The racks, shelves, trays and side runners lift out and soak in a heated dip tank in the van, so the soaking stays out of your kitchen. The cavity, fan cover and door glass are degreased by hand indoors with non-caustic products, and the door is split where the design allows. Nothing caustic is left behind. The oven is heat-tested and signed off before we leave. A single is about ninety minutes; a double closer to two hours.
Parking, and the stadium days
Twickenham has a parking fact no other part of the borough has. On match and concert days at the stadium up on Whitton Road, an event-day controlled zone comes into force and the council suspends normal parking bays across the surrounding roads, with Rugby Road, Whitton Road and part of London Road sometimes closed to traffic for an hour or two either side of kick-off. That is a day we book around rather than fight, because a van cannot ferry parts to a suspended bay. On an ordinary day the town-centre streets between the station and the river are controlled-zone anyway, so tell us the road and permit setup and we sort the nearest legal spot first.
