Turkey Street station opened in 1891 as Forty Hill and only became Turkey Street in 1960, and that history maps onto the housing we clean. Near the station are older cottages and interwar terraces, while the post-war council estate on former market-garden land between Turkey Street and Bullsmoor Lane brought rows of family houses with fitted doubles. Bullsmoor Lane is the other note. The larger detached and semi-detached houses at that end sell for more than the estate streets, and that is where a range cooker or a wider double turns up rather than a builder-fitted single.
The estate houses and their doubles
On the estate the double oven is the usual booking, a family cooker with two cavities and a grill that takes about two hours the dip-tank way and gets a heat-test before we sign it off. Our double oven cleaning is £110. Many of these houses are rented, so checkout cleans are a steady part of the week.
How the clean works
Racks, shelves, trays and side runners lift out and soak in a heated tank in the van. The cavity, fan cover and door glass are degreased by hand indoors with non-caustic products, so there is no chemical smell after, and the oven is heat-tested before we leave.
Parking on the estate roads
Parking is generally easy on the estate roads and along Bullsmoor Lane, where houses have their own frontage, and it is only tighter right by the station. All of EN3 is inside the ULEZ and the van meets it.

We do. The 90cm range is £114 and takes a little longer than a single.
Is there a travel charge for Turkey Street?
No. We cover the EN3 and EN1 streets here seven days, and there is no EN3 premium on the price you get on the phone.
