The name Sundridge Park still points at the old Nash mansion above the golf course, the Grade I house John Nash built in the 1790s with grounds laid out by Humphry Repton, which was carved into 22 flats in 2022. That mansion end and the Edwardian and interwar avenues that run down from Plaistow towards Sundridge Park station are where most of our BR1 work here sits. The new mansion flats have small fitted single ovens. The family houses on the avenues below tend to hold a double, and one or two of the larger period houses near the golf club kept a range.

From the mansion flats to the avenues
Sundridge Park splits neatly. Up at the converted mansion, and in the newer blocks around it, the kitchen is compact and the oven is a built-in single. Walk down the hill to the Edwardian streets and the kitchens grow, and a double is the usual job. Some of the bigger houses cook on a range.

The van and the parking
The avenues below the park are wide with driveways, so we usually park on the drive and the carry to the tank is short. At the mansion itself the flats share a car park off the entrance road, and we sort access on arrival. All of BR1 is inside the London-wide ULEZ. There is no call-out fee and no premium for this postcode, because Sundridge Park is inside the North and South Circular for our pricing.

Prices are fixed on the phone. A single takes about ninety minutes, a double nearer two hours. In a mansion flat the common booking is a single with the hob done at the same time.

Yes. A 90cm range is £114 and takes a bit longer than a double. We heat-test it before we leave.
Is there a chemical smell after?
No. The soaking happens in the van, and indoors we clean by hand with non-caustic products.
