One local firm, Comben and Wakeling, put up roughly 1,700 Tudorbethan semis on the Sudbury Court Estate between 1928 and 1934, set back from gently curved tree-lined roads with long rear gardens, and Brent later made the whole thing a conservation area. Charles Holden's brick, concrete and glass box went up in seven months, December 1930 to July 1931, replacing the old station, and it became the prototype for the Piccadilly line extension and for London Underground design up to the war. It is Grade II* listed. Sudbury itself straddles three boroughs, Brent, Harrow and Ealing, which is why the postcodes split between HA0 and HA1 and why nobody agrees where it ends. It was one of ten hamlets in the Archbishop of Canterbury's manor of Harrow.
Event days at Wembley move everything
Brent runs a Wembley event day parking zone with its own permits, three to a household, and on match and concert days the controls bite on streets that are otherwise quiet. Roads just over the line in Harrow or Ealing are outside Brent's zone but fill up anyway. Tell us if there is something on at the stadium. We will work around it, and there is no call-out fee inside the North and South Circular.

Racks, shelves, trays and side runners. They soak in a heated tank in the van, not in your kitchen.
Will there be a smell in the house?
There should not be. Indoors we use non-caustic products by hand on the cavity, fan cover and door glass.
Do you charge extra for HA1 over HA0?
No. Same price either side of the borough line.
Is the oven usable straight after?
Yes. We heat-test it and sign it off before we leave.
