Stone next Dartford has roughly doubled inside a generation. The parish held about 6,100 people in 2005, 10,778 by the 2011 census and something like 12,890 by 2021, and almost all of that arrived as new housing rather than as anyone squeezing into the old village cottages.

Stone Castle is Grade II listed, a medieval tower with Gothic Revival work added in the nineteenth century. Around the church the stock is older and smaller, which usually means a freestanding cooker in a room with one door and no extractor at all.

No. Stone straddles both districts and the list is the same either side.
Do you need to plumb into anything?
No. Tank and water are both in the van, and the racks, shelves, trays and side runners come out to them.
Will it smell afterwards?
It should not. Indoors we work by hand with non-caustic products on the cavity, fan cover and door glass, and the oven is heat-tested before we sign it off.

Very satisfied with the service. They were slightly late at first but I got a call from customer service to let me know, and it was all fine. The oven man, as he called himself, arrived and worked very hard for a couple of hours. My oven now looks like it has never been used.
