Hithermoor Farmhouse on Farm Way came later, around 1830: yellow brick, sash windows, and a dated brick by the door with a row of initials. On Horton Road, The Anchor is the village pub; the Victoria County History records an Anchor Inn at Stanwellmoor by 1730, since rebuilt.
