Oven cleaning across Stamford Brook, W6, with the dip-tank in the van and the hand work done indoors. Single ovens from £77, seven days a week.
Stamford Brook has a W6 postcode but the station and most of the streets around it sit in Hounslow, not Hammersmith and Fulham, which is why the parking rules change halfway down some of these roads. It catches people out. It catches us out too if nobody mentions it when they book, so we ask.
The borough line runs through the postcode
Hounslow visitor permits here are sold in sessions rather than days: a 30-session book costs £28.50 and one session buys an hour of parking during restricted times, with a cap of ten books a year per household. A single oven takes about ninety minutes, so that is two sessions, and a double nearer three. Worth knowing before you hand one over. The station sits on Goldhawk Road with the back entrance on Prebend Gardens.
Mansion flats one side, family houses the other
Two kinds of kitchen dominate. The mansion blocks such as Stamford Brook Mansions, Linkenholt Mansions and Ranelagh Gardens are mostly conversion and purpose-built flats with an integrated single under the worktop, often behind a cupboard door that has to come off first. Then there are the four and five bedroom period houses in the 7.4 hectare conservation area, where a rear extension usually means a built-in double oven and a separate hob, and the grease sits worst on the door glass panes.
- Dip-tank
- A heated tank in the van. Racks, shelves, trays and side runners soak in it while we work.
- Non-caustic
- The products used indoors on the cavity, fan cover and glass. No smell in the flat afterwards.
The tank never comes indoors.

Questions we get around Stamford Brook
Do I need to buy you a visitor permit?
If you are in the Hounslow zone and there is no meter bay free, yes, and sessions are the unit. Tell us at booking and we will work out how many you need rather than guess on the doorstep.
Can you clean a built-in oven behind a cupboard front?
Yes. The furniture door comes off, the oven door is split where the design allows, and both go back before we leave.
Is the oven usable straight away?
Yes. We heat-test it and sign it off, and the products are non-caustic so there is nothing to burn off.
Do you do end-of-tenancy cleans on the flats?
Often. The blocks near the tube turn over regularly and the check-out report is usually what starts the conversation.

Reviews from our rounds
I would certainly recommend this service, very efficient and good value for money. The young man did a great job and even cleaned the kitchen floor. Thank you.
Arrived promptly and did a great job cleaning the oven, hob and extractor. They look like new now and for a very reasonable price too.
Very satisfied with the service. They were slightly late at first but I got a call from customer service to let me know, and it was all fine. The oven man, as he called himself, arrived and worked very hard for a couple of hours. My oven now looks like it has never been used.
