Charles Holden built Southgate tube station on its island between Southgate Circus and Station Parade in 1933, and the streets that fan out from it went up in the same decade. That is the housing we mostly work in. Hipped-roof 1930s semis on the wide avenues toward Oakwood, nearly all with a driveway and a rear garden, and freestanding double ovens in kitchens extended out the back at some point.

Parking in the CPZ streets
Enfield runs several controlled parking zones across Southgate, including the Bourne and Wynchgate schemes, some all-day. Where a road is permit-only we sort where the van goes before we arrive, and on the semi avenues with driveways it rarely comes up at all. There is no call-out fee inside the North and South Circular.

A single runs about ninety minutes, a double roughly two hours. For a big family kitchen, our double oven clean is £110 and covers both cavities, both glass panels and all the racks in one visit.

How long does a double oven take?
About two hours. The racks soak in the van while the cavity and glass are done by hand, so both parts happen at once and you get the oven back the same visit.
Will permit parking on The Bourne be a problem?
No. We check the Enfield CPZ rules for your road when you book. Most of the detached and semi roads have driveways in any case.
Can you clean the glass between the door panels?
Yes, where the door design lets us split it. On a knocked-through Southgate kitchen that brown film is often the first thing people notice.
Do you cover flats near Southgate Circus?
We do. Integrated single ovens in the parade flats are £77, same as a house, and the method is identical.
