Southfleet oven cleaning starts at £77 with London Oven Cleaners. The oven is put back together and heated, you look inside, and any corner that is not right is cleaned again.
Southfleet's conservation area was first designated in 1970 and covers the old village round the crossroads of Hook Green Road, Red Street, Warren Road and Dale Road.
The village round St Nicholas's church
Dartford Council's 1998 appraisal dates the church and Friary Court to the 14th century and Court Lodge Farmhouse to the 15th. Church Cottages, further up Church Street, are a slightly unusual Wealden hall house, almost untouched outside. Church House and The Ship are 16th century, and Sedley's School and the post office 17th. Warren Road is a short ribbon of mostly 19th-century houses, and Forge House and Warren Cottages went up in 1895.
The appraisal also notes newer housing along Hook Green Road and Red Street that had expanded the village considerably by 1998, most of it south of Hook Green Road. A second conservation area, Red Street, followed on 7 September 1998; outside it, the southern part of Red Street is mostly detached bungalows or large two-storey brick houses set back from the road.
Big houses, long owned
In the census area that takes in Southfleet and the lanes around it, 42.9% of the 728 households lived in a detached house in 2021 and 38.9% in a semi; flats were under 4%. Owners made up 78.0%, and 44.2% owned outright. Southfleet shares its council ward with Longfield and New Barn.
A large house with a kitchen that has been refitted over the years is a likelier place for a range cooker, a built-in double or an AGA. The method does not change with the size: racks, trays and side runners come out and are soaked and cleaned separately, and the cavities, fan covers and door glass are degreased by hand indoors.

Our house on Red Street is set back from the road. Where does the van go?
On the drive if you are happy with that, otherwise the nearest legal space. Dartford Council's permit parking schemes page names streets in Dartford, Greenhithe and Darenth but none in Southfleet.
We have a two-oven AGA. What do we need to do?

Our address says Gravesend. Is Southfleet still covered?
Yes. The post town is Gravesend, but the parish is in Dartford borough, and it is on our list either way.

Very satisfied with the service. They were slightly late at first but I got a call from customer service to let me know, and it was all fine. The oven man, as he called himself, arrived and worked very hard for a couple of hours. My oven now looks like it has never been used.
