Oven cleaning in South Kenton, HA3, around Windermere Avenue and the Sudbury Court Estate. Dip-tank method, seven days a week, single ovens from £77.
South Kenton station opened on 3 July 1933, tucked between The Link on the Sudbury Court Estate and Windermere Grove. William Henry Hamlyn designed it in concrete and glass with a streamlined waiting room, which is nothing like the brick LNWR stations further up the same line. It is one of only three stations served by London Underground that have no ticket gates at all.
The station and the houses arrived together
The Windermere on Windermere Avenue went up in 1938 in a Dutch style with Art Deco interiors and is Grade II listed, which dates the surrounding streets fairly precisely: this is 1930s speculative suburbia built out around a new halt. Kenton Road is the boundary between Harrow and Brent, and the station itself falls on the Brent side while most of the postcode is HA3. Semis of that vintage were built with a chimney breast and a scullery, and the kitchens have been ripped out and refitted two or three times since, so what you find now is usually a freestanding cooker or a built-under double rather than anything original.
Where the bigger cookers turn up
Rear extensions on interwar semis are what create room for a 90cm range in a road like this, and the price for one is £114. A two-oven AGA is £143. If yours is the cast-iron sort, AGA cleaning in a Kenton kitchen works the same way as everything else: the parts that lift out go to the tank, the rest is hand work.
Why nothing is left soaking in your sink
Racks, shelves, trays and side runners are carried out to a heated tank fitted in the van. Indoors we degrease the cavity, the fan cover and the door glass by hand, using non-caustic products, then heat-test the oven before signing it off. There is no chemical smell afterwards.

South Kenton questions
Is HA3 too far out for you?
No. We work seven days across London and the price is the same here as anywhere, with no premium-area surcharge on the postcode.
My address is Harrow but the station is Brent. Does that matter to you?
Not at all. Kenton Road splits the two boroughs and we cover both sides of it. Just give the road name on 020 8077 5225.
Can you clean the hob and the hood on the same visit?
Yes. A hob is £23–28 depending on the type and a hood is £28, both added to whatever the oven comes to.
How long does a double take?
Around two hours.

What customers tell us
Nice hardworking lads that always do a good job. We used them for our old flat when moving out and for the new one now, both jobs were done very professionally. My wife is very impressed with the results and would recommend them to friends and family.
Very satisfied with the service. They were slightly late at first but I got a call from customer service to let me know, and it was all fine. The oven man, as he called himself, arrived and worked very hard for a couple of hours. My oven now looks like it has never been used.
I would certainly recommend this service, very efficient and good value for money. The young man did a great job and even cleaned the kitchen floor. Thank you.
