Soho Square is listed as King Square in the ratebook for 1683, when 14 of its houses were finished and lived in. By 1691 there were 41. Richard Frith, a bricklayer, had taken the lease of Soho Fields in April 1677, and the street running south from the square still has his name.

Parking in zone G around the square
Soho Square is in Westminster's parking zone G, which covers Soho, the West End and Covent Garden. In the council's table of controlled hours from March 2026, paid bays and single yellow lines in sub-zone G1 are controlled 8.30am to 6.30pm, Monday to Saturday, and resident bays at all hours, every day. Westminster has no on-street visitor permit scheme: visitors use the pay-to-park bays or, outside controlled hours, single yellow lines. On Sundays the paid bays are not controlled at all, and a Sunday visit is charged at the weekday price.

Yes, as long as you can let us in by your own door. We work seven days a week, and Sunday is the day the zone G paid bays are free of control.
I rent through an agent. Can the invoice go to them?

Where is the oven cleaned in a small flat?
The cavity and door glass are cleaned by hand in your kitchen, on dust sheets, and the racks and trays come out and are soaked and cleaned separately. Some teams bring a heated tank on the van and use it when they can park close; otherwise everything is done in the kitchen. The price is the same either way, so ask when you book.
Can the hob be done at the same visit?
Yes. A gas hob is £28 and a ceramic hob £23, on top of the oven price, and an extractor hood is £28.
