Getting to you in Selsdon
Selsdon has no railway station of its own. People take the 64 down to South Croydon or the tram from Gravel Hill, and for us that means the van comes in by road along Addington Road or Selsdon Park Road rather than parking near any station. Parking on the estate streets is generally off-street or kerbside and easy, so we can usually get the van close to the kitchen door.
Racks, shelves, trays and side runners lift out and soak in a heated tank in the van. The cavity, fan cover and door glass are degreased by hand indoors with non-caustic products, so there is no chemical smell after. The oven is heat-tested before we leave.
