Rush Green straddles a council boundary, Havering's Brooklands ward on the Romford side and Barking and Dagenham's Eastbrook ward on the other, so we field jobs on both councils' streets from one van. Parking on both sides
On the Havering side the roads around St Augustine's Church run a controlled parking zone with resident permits Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6:30pm, and free parking on Sundays, which shapes when we drop the tank near your door. Most of the semis have a driveway or a short front, so parking is rarely the problem it is on the Dagenham estates. Rush Green is outside the District line, with Romford and Chadwell Heath the nearest stations, and the whole area is inside the London-wide ULEZ.
