Those buyers' successors are still mostly owners. At the 2021 Census, 40.1% of the 4,203 households in Ruislip Manor ward were paying off a mortgage, 37.4% owned outright and 18.3% rented privately; just 3.3% rented from a social landlord, and only 6.0% of homes were detached.
The council describes the Manor Homes as mainly small houses for working men who wanted to buy, so the kitchens are likely to be small, and most will have been refitted since, often around a built-in single. Racks, trays and side runners come out for a separate soak and clean; inside, the cavity, the fan cover and the door glass are worked by hand over dust sheets, and the door is split where its design allows.

The draft RM zones order in the council's 18 February 2026 notice lists Linden Close in zone RM (permit holders 9am to 5pm on weekdays), Green Walk and Windmill Way in RM2 (two short weekday spells, one from 11am to midday), Pond Green in RM3 (8am to 10am on weekdays and 10am to 4pm at weekends) and part of The Ridgeway in RM4 (midday to 1pm on weekdays), a zone the council added in 2025-26. Pay-and-display bays on the Victoria Road shopping stretch run 8am to 6.30pm, Monday to Saturday. Most of the estate is outside these zones, so the signs on your road decide, and a nearby space matters more than the zone.
