Oven cleaning across Rayners Lane and the HA5 postcode, seven days a week, from £77 for a single oven with no premium-area surcharge.
Rayners Lane is Metroland, and the kitchens tell you so. Around a third of the housing here is 1930s semi-detached, most of it the Harrow Garden Village estate that Metropolitan Railway Country Estates started laying out in 1927 on garden-suburb lines. Those semis were built with small kitchens at the back, and even in the houses where owners have knocked through to make one big room, the cooker is nearly always a standard freestanding or built-in single rather than anything wider. That is the £77 job for us, done in about ninety minutes.
We work the dip-tank way. The racks, shelves, trays and side runners lift out and soak in the heated tank in the van, so the baked-on grease comes off metal rather than being scrubbed in your kitchen. The cavity, fan cover and door glass are degreased by hand indoors with non-caustic products, and there is no smell afterwards. The oven is heat-tested before we go.
- Metroland kitchen
- The compact rear kitchen of a 1930s Metro-land semi, usually holding a single freestanding or built-in oven.
- Dip-tank clean
- Removable parts soaked in a heated tank in the van; the fixed cavity and glass done by hand with non-caustic products indoors.
Parking around the station and the parades
The streets off Village Way and up toward Pinner View are wide, so parking to ferry parts to the van is rarely a problem. It gets tighter by the shopping parades on Alexandra Avenue and right by the station, where the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines meet under the old Art Deco building that is now the Zoroastrian Centre. We stop as close as the road allows and carry the racks a short way. No call-out fee applies.
| Single oven | £77 |
| Double oven | £110 |
| Range cooker, 90cm | £114 |
| Two-oven AGA | £143 |

If your semi has a separate double oven built into the units, our double oven clean is £110 and runs to about two hours.
Questions from Rayners Lane
My 1930s semi has the original small kitchen. Can you still get the oven out to clean it?
We do not need to move the oven. The removable parts come out and go to the tank; the fixed cavity is cleaned in place by hand. Tight kitchens are normal here.
Do you clean the oven glass so it is clear again?
Yes. Where the door design allows we split it and clean the inner panes, which is where the browning usually hides.
Can I get a Sunday appointment?
Yes. We work seven days, and weekend slots in HA5 go early, so book ahead if you want one.
Do you cover the flats around Alexandra Avenue?
We do. The integrated single ovens in those flats clean up the same way as the freestanding cookers in the houses.

Said after the sign-off
Very satisfied with the service. They were slightly late at first but I got a call from customer service to let me know, and it was all fine. The oven man, as he called himself, arrived and worked very hard for a couple of hours. My oven now looks like it has never been used.
Arrived promptly and did a great job cleaning the oven, hob and extractor. They look like new now and for a very reasonable price too.
I would certainly recommend this service, very efficient and good value for money. The young man did a great job and even cleaned the kitchen floor. Thank you.
