Most of our W6 work sits in the mansion flats along Paddenswick Road and the Victorian terraces running down towards the park gates. Ravenscourt Park Mansions alone is 48 flats on one Paddenswick Road frontage, nearly all of them period conversions from before 1911, and nearly all of them have a single under-counter oven wedged into a galley kitchen with no room to swing the door open properly. That shapes the job. Racks, shelves, trays and side runners come out to the van and soak while we work on the cavity indoors.
The kitchens around the park
Three rough types here. Red-brick Victorian mansion blocks like Hamlet Gardens, where refits have put integrated singles under the worktop. The restored villas and cottages on the streets either side of the 21 acres of parkland that opened in 1888, which now and then carry a 90cm range. Then the Edwardian terraces up towards Askew Road, where a freestanding cooker is still normal.
Integrated singles are the bread and butter. If yours is a built-under oven in a block like Hamlet Gardens, the single oven clean covers the cavity, fan cover, door glass and the runners, and it takes about ninety minutes.
Parking and the van
Ravenscourt Park ward sits mostly under Hammersmith and Fulham zones I, L and M, and the council has priced its permits on vehicle emissions since February 2025. We are ULEZ compliant. Tell us the bay situation when you ring, because the van has to be within carrying distance of your door. The parts come back hot, so on the long terraces off Paddenswick Road that walk is what adds the minutes. No call-out fee inside the North and South Circular.

Questions we get in W6
Will the flat smell of chemicals afterwards?
No. The heated tank stays in the van, and the cavity, fan cover and door glass are done by hand indoors with non-caustic products. Small galley kitchens are exactly why we work this way.
Can you do the hob and hood on the same visit?
Yes. A hob is £23–28 depending on type, an extractor hood is £28. Say so when you book so we allow the time.
How long does a double take?
Around two hours. The oven is heat-tested and signed off before we leave.
