The hood is usually the neglected part
In a flat that vents back into the room, the grease ends up in the filter and the housing instead of going outside, so the hood above a Peckham Place hob is £28 on top of the oven and worth doing at the same visit. Racks, shelves, trays and side runners soak in the tank in the van. The cavity, fan cover and door glass are done by hand indoors with non-caustic products.

How long will a single oven take?
About ninety minutes. A double is nearer two hours, and a converted flat with a small kitchen does not speed that up much, because the time goes on the cavity and the door glass rather than on walking about.
