Three riverside developments of flats stand in the ward. Two are side by side on High Timber Street, between Upper Thames Street and the river. Parking a van near High Timber Street
The City Corporation treats the whole Square Mile as one controlled parking zone, with parking only in marked bays. Controls run from 7am to 7pm on weekdays and from 7am to 11am on Saturdays unless a time plate says otherwise, so a Saturday afternoon or a Sunday is easier for the van, at the weekday price. Upper Thames Street, which the flats back onto, is one of the roads TfL enforces instead of the City, according to the City's own list.
