Preston takes its name from John Lyon, the sixteenth-century Preston farmer who founded Harrow School, and the district grew up around Preston Road station after the halt opened in 1908 and Harrow Golf Club followed near it in 1912. Parking and access
Preston sits inside the ULEZ, though our vans meet the standard, and the wide interwar streets off Preston Road usually give a kerb space near the door.
