Petticoat Tower holds 88 flats over 23 floors, and Petticoat Square adds about 146 more around the landscaped podium beside Artizan Street Library. The estate went up between 1968 and 1972. Parking is the Mansell Street problem
The City of London is a controlled parking zone throughout, and there is nothing here resembling the free residents' bay you would get a mile east in Tower Hamlets. We work off meters and loading restrictions, and the Congestion Charge went to £18 a day on 2 January 2026. We pay it. It does not go on your bill.
Do you cover the Middlesex Street Estate flats?
Yes, Petticoat Tower and Petticoat Square both. The van parks on the street and the technician brings the racks down; nothing heated comes into the flat.
Will there be a chemical smell afterwards?
No. The caustic side of the job happens in the tank in the van. Indoors we degrease the cavity, fan cover and door glass by hand with non-caustic products, which matters in a flat with one window.
Can you do an end-of-tenancy clean at short notice?
Often, yes. Portsoken has heavy letting churn and we are out seven days, so a Sunday check-out slot is usually findable.
