Parking on the steep streets
The streets that drop from the Common toward Plumstead High Street are steep and narrow, so a morning slot before the school run near Plumstead Manor is easier for the van. Greenwich scrapped the proposed Plumstead controlled-parking zone in 2025 after local opposition, so most of these roads are still free to park on.
