Park Royal is the largest business park in London, about 1,200 acres split between Brent and Ealing, holding over 1,200 businesses, roughly 35,000 workers and around 500 food companies. Homes are the minority here. The residential pockets are few enough to name.
The streets the brewery named
Guinness put up its art deco brewery here between 1933 and 1936 to a design by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott and Alexander Gibb, opened it in 1937, and by the 1960s peak the site was turning out 1.6 million barrels of stout a year. It built housing for its workers too, naming the roads after the Guinness family, which is how Iveagh Avenue and Moyne Place, off Twyford Abbey Road, got their names. Brewing stopped in 2005 and the buildings came down in 2006. The houses stayed. Stock of that age tends to mean a freestanding cooker or a fitted single in a back kitchen, and a single oven is £77 either way.
The new blocks are a different kitchen
OPDC, the mayoral development corporation set up in April 2015 to run the 650 hectares across Old Oak and Park Royal, approved the 807-home First Central scheme on Lakeside Drive and allows for at least 1,500 homes in the non-industrial parts. Blocks like that run to one integrated oven per kitchen, usually open-plan with no door to shut, and that is where the method matters: racks, shelves, trays and runners soak in the heated tank in the van, while the cavity, fan cover and door glass are degreased indoors by hand with non-caustic products.
Red route, not a permit zone
The A40 Western Avenue and the A406 North Circular both cut through Park Royal, both are red routes, and the Hanger Lane gyratory sits at the join. Nobody stops on those, so we come off onto the side streets and carry. Our problem, not yours. No call-out fee inside the North and South Circular.

My First Central flat has one integrated oven. Which price is that?
£77, about ninety minutes. Two cavities behind one door front makes it a double at £110, and we will sort that out on the phone.
Can you do the hob and extractor on the same visit?
Yes. A hob is £23–28 depending on the type and an extractor hood is £28. Booked together they are one visit.
Will the flat smell of chemicals afterwards?
It should not. The soaking happens in the van, the indoor work is non-caustic and by hand, and the oven is heat-tested before we go.
