Oven cleaning across New Southgate and the N11 postcode, single ovens from £77. Racks soak in a heated tank in the van; the cavity is degreased by hand.
Most of our N11 work sits in the Victorian and Edwardian terraces off Bowes Road and Friern Barnet Road, plus the new flats going up on the old Ladderswood Estate site. Those two housing types need different handling. A terrace kitchen usually has a freestanding double or a range that has been in place for years, so the shelves come out heavy with baked-on grease. The new-build flats around Ladderswood Way run to integrated single ovens, and on those the door often splits cleanly so we can reach the inner glass.
New Southgate station sits right on the Barnet and Enfield boundary in zone 4, on the King's Cross line, and the streets around it fill early. If you are on one of the roads inside the Arnos Grove CPZ, we work around the permit hours. That zone now takes in Betstyle Road, Brookdale, Ravenscraig Road and Limes Avenue, so the technician will usually pull up on a side turning and carry the racks the short distance to the van tank.
The tank lives in the van and runs hot. Shelves, trays, side runners and the fan cover soak in it while the cavity, the fan and the door glass get done by hand indoors with non-caustic products. No caustic fumes drifting through the flat afterwards. We heat-test the oven and sign it off before we go.
What an oven clean costs in N11
Prices are fixed and quoted on the phone. There is no premium-area surcharge and no call-out fee inside the North and South Circular. A single takes about ninety minutes; a double runs closer to two hours.
| Single oven | £77 |
| Double oven | £110 |
| Range cooker, 90cm | £114 |
| Two-oven AGA | £143 |
| Hob | £23–28 |
| Extractor hood | £28 |
| Microwave | £22 |
Plenty of the older terraces here run a 90cm range rather than a built-in double. If that is what you have, the range cooker clean covers the wider cavity and both cavities where the model has them.
End-of-tenancy work near the station
The rental churn around New Southgate station keeps us busy with checkout cleans. A landlord or agent who wants the oven signed off before an inventory clerk arrives gets the same dip-tank job as any homeowner, done to a standard that passes a check-out. We can turn one around on the day the tenants leave.
Do you cover the whole of N11?
Yes. That includes New Southgate proper, the Ladderswood side, and the parts of the postcode that spill into Arnos Grove, Bounds Green and Friern Barnet.
Will the parking permit zone slow things down?
No. The technician plans around the Arnos Grove CPZ hours and parks on a nearby turning if your own road is permit-only during the working day.
Is there a smell afterwards?
There should not be. The heavy soaking happens in the tank in the van, and the indoor work uses non-caustic products, so the kitchen does not reek of chemicals when we leave.
Can you clean the hob and extractor at the same time?
Yes. Add a hob at £23–28 and an extractor hood at £28 while the technician is already there. Most double-oven jobs get both done in the same visit.

Reviews from our rounds
Brilliant clean, my oven looks like brand new. A 5 star clean.
I would certainly recommend this service, very efficient and good value for money. The young man did a great job and even cleaned the kitchen floor. Thank you.
Arrived promptly and did a great job cleaning the oven, hob and extractor. They look like new now and for a very reasonable price too.
