Oven cleaning in Morden from £77 by London Oven Cleaners. You look over the rebuilt oven while it heats up, and anything you want redone is redone before we go.
Morden Underground station opened in September 1926 at the southern end of the Northern line, and Merton's own character study calls Morden the only example of a 'Metroland' type of suburb in south London.
A 1930s town centre round the station
The shops came with the trains. Two-storey parades in red brick and render went up along London Road and Crown Lane through the 1930s, many of them flat-roofed with Art Deco details, and the Southern Railway's line through Morden South opened in January 1930. In the early 1960s the Crown pub was pulled down for Crown House, a curved fourteen-storey tower that Merton's study calls a landmark visible from the surrounding area. A different change is now on the way: in January 2026 Merton's cabinet agreed £30 million as the next step of Remaking Morden, the council's long-term plan for new homes and a better high street in the town centre.
Beyond Crown House, between Crown Lane, Martin Way and London Road, the study finds late Victorian terraces by Crown Road and Crown Lane and 1930s terraces and semis beyond them, red brick below and white render above, on roads such as Links Avenue and Cedars Road. Closer to the centre there are flats: Morden Court, a white rendered Art Deco block behind the London Road shops, and 1950s blocks such as Grosvenor Court on London Road itself.
Half of households rent near the station
The Census area that takes in the station, Crown Lane and Links Avenue (Merton 023A) had 728 households in 2021. 50.5% rented privately, against 29.1% across Merton, and 46.0% lived in a purpose-built block of flats. With that many lets, tenancies end all through the year, and the oven is a usual line on a checkout inventory.

Letting agents can have the invoice made out to the agency, photos for the checkout file on request, and a key pick-up for an empty flat by arrangement. The guide to end of tenancy oven cleaning covers what a clerk checks. An inventory can list the hob and the extractor too, and the price list has a combined figure for the three:
- Single oven on its own
- £77, about 90 minutes
- Single oven, hob and extractor together
- £117
- Double oven, hob and extractor together
- £143
The racks, trays and side runners come out and are soaked and cleaned separately. Indoors, the cavity, fan cover and door glass are degreased by hand.

Morden oven cleaning questions
I am moving out of a flat near the station. Can the agent book it?
Yes. The agent, the landlord or the tenant can book, and the invoice can go to the agency.
Can the hob and extractor be done on the same visit?
Yes. With a single oven the three together are £117; with a double, £143.
How long will you be in the flat?
About 90 minutes for a single oven, about two hours for a double.
Is Morden Hall Park part of Morden?
Yes, it is the National Trust park that Merton's study gives as the northern boundary of the Morden neighbourhood. Gilliat Hatfeild left it to the Trust in 1941.

Reviews from our rounds
Very satisfied with the service. They were slightly late at first but I got a call from customer service to let me know, and it was all fine. The oven man, as he called himself, arrived and worked very hard for a couple of hours. My oven now looks like it has never been used.
Once again a great job guys, I will see you in a couple of months.
Arrived promptly and did a great job cleaning the oven, hob and extractor. They look like new now and for a very reasonable price too.
