The name has nothing to do with Morocco. It comes from Richard Maggot, a landowner here in the 15th century, joined to haw, meaning enclosed land, and the spelling was still Maggothaw in 1618 before it drifted into its present shape. The hamlet sits at roughly 200 metres, which puts it among the highest settlements in south-east England.
There is not much of it
Mogador is farmland, common land and a handful of addresses. Banstead Heath, Colley Hill, Reigate Hill and Walton Heath surround it, the North Downs Way runs immediately to the south, and the only way in by road is through Lower Kingswood. The Sportsman on Mogador Road is the one public building of note: parts of it are 16th century, it was put up as a lodge on royal hunting ground, and most of what stands now is probably early Victorian. Postcodes run KT20 7ES, 7EW, 7HL and 7HP. If you are looking for a street of kitchens, it is Lower Kingswood you want, not Mogador.

Houses of that kind tend to carry a range or a double rather than an under-counter single, and often a wide extractor over the hob. Access is by one lane
M25 Junction 8 at Reigate Hill is about a mile east and Kingswood station about three miles north, but neither helps much once you are off the A217. Give us the house name. On a lane like this it beats a postcode. Fixed price, no premium-area surcharge, whatever the drive out.

Do you need power or water from the house?
No. The tank, the heat and the water travel with us in the van, which is the point of the method.
Is the soaking done indoors?
Never. Racks, shelves, trays and side runners go out to the van. The cavity, fan cover and door glass are hand-degreased inside with non-caustic products.
How long will you be?
About 90 minutes for a single oven and roughly two hours for a double, including the heat test before sign-off.
