Mill Meads is the low ground where the Channelsea and Bow Creek branches of the Lea wrap around old industrial land, sitting in Newham right on the Tower Hamlets border, which is why post here lands under both E15 and E3. Three Mills Lane carries the Grade I listed House Mill, rebuilt in 1776 by Daniel Bisson on a milling site already recorded in the Domesday survey of 1086, with Three Mills Studios working as a film and television lot alongside it.
The housing here is mostly new
For most of its history this was works and water rather than homes. That changed with Sugar House Island, a 26-acre Vastint scheme set to carry 1,200 homes, a hotel and a primary school, its first phase at Dane's Yard completed in 2020 and since fully let. Stock of that vintage normally means an integrated oven, built under the worktop or set at eye level in a tall unit. One cavity is the single oven job at £77 and about ninety minutes. Two stacked in one column is a double at £110.
Non-caustic products are what come indoors
Racks, shelves, trays and side runners lift out and soak in the heated tank in the van. The cavity, fan cover and door glass are degreased by hand indoors with non-caustic products, so no chemical smell is left sitting in the kitchen after. The oven is heat-tested and signed off before we go.
Stratford event days change the parking
Newham runs resident permit zones across this corner, lettered SSE for Stratford South East. On event days the controlled hours stretch to 8am to 9pm, worth knowing with the stadium just north of you. The bay is our problem. Your price is fixed on the phone, with no premium for the postcode and no call-out fee inside the North and South Circular.

Both are in use. The area sits on the Newham side of the Tower Hamlets boundary and the two districts meet across it, so give us whichever your post arrives under. It makes no difference to the price.
Do you cover Sugar House Island?
Yes. It is new-build, so say whether the oven is one cavity or two stacked in a tall unit and you get the right figure before anyone comes out.
My kitchen is open plan. Will the flat smell afterwards?
It should not. The caustic side happens in the tank in the van, never in the room. That matters more in an open-plan layout with no kitchen door to shut.
