The houses around Carlton Square, between Mile End Road and Bancroft Road, were built in the 1850s by William Pemberton Barnes on open land called Globe Fields. Parking off Mile End Road
Mile End Road is the A11, part of Transport for London's road network, with a cycle track along each side, so the parking that matters is in the side streets. On the council's parking zone map the streets north of the road here are zone A4 and those to the south zone C3. Both run Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm, so Saturday and Sunday are uncontrolled, at the same price as a weekday.

Very satisfied with the service. They were slightly late at first but I got a call from customer service to let me know, and it was all fine. The oven man, as he called himself, arrived and worked very hard for a couple of hours. My oven now looks like it has never been used.
