Parking and access
W1U sits in Westminster's Zone F controlled parking zone, and the streets are permit-only or pay-by-phone through the day, so we build the parking into the visit. Chiltern Street, with its red-brick Victorian mansion frontage that stands out against the stucco Georgian terraces around it, has flats over the shops, and the mansion blocks have porters who can point us to a loading bay. Do you clean AGAs, and can you do it while it is off?
Yes to both. We ask you to turn a gas or electric AGA off the night before so the cast iron is cool enough to work on. An oil-fired one, we can advise on the phone. The clean takes a good part of the morning.
Is there a surcharge for a central Marylebone address?
