The Woodberry Down towers going up by the two reservoirs shape our week here. Berkeley Homes is putting more than 5,500 flats across that regeneration, and nearly all come with a single integrated oven behind a matching door, often a self-cleaning model. Those ovens still need us. A visit strips the racks and side runners into the tank in the van, then the cavity, fan cover and glass are degreased by hand indoors, because the pyrolytic cycle only burns the floor of the cavity and leaves the door glass and the seals filmed over.

New-build flats and older lets side by side
Manor House is a real mix. The new blocks near Manor House tube, about 270 metres from the development on the Hackney and Haringey border, run those integrated single ovens. The older estate flats and the terraces towards Finsbury Park turn over as rentals, so we get a steady line of end-of-tenancy cleans there too. Whichever it is, the oven is heat-tested and signed off before we leave. For a checkout clean a letting agent will accept, the receipt against our professional oven cleaning is what most N4 tenants hand over.

No call-out fee inside the North and South Circular, and Manor House is well within it. A single takes about ninety minutes.
Access at Woodberry Down
The new blocks by the reservoirs mostly have underground or gated parking, so the technician needs the entry details and a bay when you book. On the older streets it is pay-and-display or a permit bay near your door, and the trays are carried to the van from there. None of that shifts the price.
Manor House questions
My new flat has a self-cleaning oven. Do I still need this?
Usually yes. The self-clean cycle burns the cavity floor but leaves the door glass, the seal and the racks greasy, and that is the part we take out and soak.
Will there be a smell in the flat after?
No. The caustic soaking is done in the tank in the van. Indoors we hand-clean with non-caustic products, so a new flat by the wetlands is fine to cook in that evening.
Do you do move-out cleans on the older Manor House estates?
Often. End-of-tenancy is a big part of our N4 work, and we heat-test and sign the oven off so the inventory clears.
